Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer was born on February 10, 1978 in Nicosia.

He completed primary school in Şehit Ertuğrul Primary School, secondary and high school in Turkish Maarif College GCSE Science department. After completing his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Near East University, he received his Master's and Doctorate degrees at the same university and faculty. He is currently working as Head of Automotive Engineering Department and as a faculty member in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

He has been working at Near East University since 2002.

He has been working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Near East University since 2006 and as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Biomedical Engineering in the same department.

In 2007, he attended a course in the field of Medical Electronics at ESPANSIONE GROUP in Italy and was successful in the service of IPL, LED, VACUUM Technology and other medical products and received a certificate.

He was successful in the International Communications conference held in India in 2011 and received the best article award.

In 2013, he represented our University at ROBOCUP 2013 in the Netherlands by taking part in the NEUISLANDERS Robot Team, which is the Robotics team of our University, as a member of the electronic unit.

He was successful in the Intermediate English Proficiency Exam in 2013 and received a certificate. He is also successful in the French Proficiency Exam and has a certificate.

He was a referee in the knowledge competition held between high schools in 2014-2018 and was assigned in the fields of electricity and electronics.

He completed his doctorate education in 2014 and continues his studies as a lecturer.

He became Assistant Professor in 2015 and was appointed as the Head of the Automotive Engineering Department.

In 2015, there is a certificate of appreciation in the Electronic Imaging Journal, which is within the scope of SCI.

At the 2016 DESAM Science Awards, the Young Researcher Honor Award, which was given to the candidate with the best publication performance among young researchers, was given to him in the Field of Science.

In 2017, he chaired the "ICSCCW 2017, The 9th International Conference on Theory and Application of Soft Computing, Computing with Words and Perception".

In 2017, she participated in the "Training the Trainer" program organized by the Near East University and received a certificate.

In 2018, he received the title of Associate Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer has articles published in 24 international refereed journals, 34 international conferences and 7 international books, 1 invited speech and 7 local refereed journals. Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer is a member of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Chamber of Electrical Engineers.

Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer is a member of Near East University, Applied Artificial Intelligence Research Center (AAIRC).

Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer's research areas include image processing, image recognition, artificial neural networks, statistics and electronics. Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer's areas of interest include renewable energy sources and geographic information systems.

Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer's hobbies include playing musical instruments, violin making and photography.

Assoc. Dr. Kamil Dimililer is married and has two children.
