A meaningful event at the Near East University!

With the event organized with the participation of Near East University Vocational School Hair Care and Beauty Services Department and Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Taçoy, hair and beauty treatments were applied to women who received support from the Gender Equality Department.

Near East University Vocational School Hair Care and Beauty Services Department students provided hair and beauty treatments to women who received support from the Gender Equality Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Hasan Taçoy, Minister of Labor and Social Security also attended the event.

After the event, Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Taçoy visited Near East University Vocational School Hair Care and Beauty Services Department and received information from the Head of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Üstün Aksoy and chatted with the students of the department.

At the end of the event, a certificate of appreciation was presented by Minister Taçoy to the Head of the Near East University Vocational School Hair Care and Beauty Services Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Üstün Aksoy, who provided hair and beauty treatments to women in cooperation with the Gender Equality Department.

Reminding that as the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, they provide social security support in different sectors to support women, newly graduated youth and young entrepreneurs, Minister Taçoy said that they will continue to be with the youth and create opportunities by offering them new opportunities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Üstün Aksoy said, “Our women deserve a life worthy of human dignity, free from violence and equal in a safer world today and every day. I hope that our women, the people who shape the future, can live in a more just, secure, and peaceful world.”

Saying, “We wanted to make our women feel good with the event we organized,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aksoy expressed her gratitude to Hasan Taçoy, Minister of Labor and Social Security, for his support and for personally coming to the event and getting information.
